"Los Guardiola – Fantasy in 7 and a Half Dreams" unveils two new tableaux at the Théâtre des Bastides

On December 21, 2025, before a sold-out audience, we premiered two brand-new tableaux from the show. The setting could not have been more beautiful: the magnificent Théâtre des Bastides in Villefranche-de-Rouergue (Aveyron), an Italian-style theatre with just over 350 seats, inaugurated in 1898.

The first new tableau offers a reinterpretation of the ancient myth of Pygmalion and Galatea — a moment when dreams turn against the one who shapes them: a man sculpts his desire… but idealized love can become a destructive force.
Set to Mendelssohn’s The Hebrides, reimagined as a tango by pianist Chloé Pfeiffer, the fatal dance unfolds between the sculptor of dreams and his Galatea.
The second new addition appears in the encore: the tableau of the Blue Bird and its confetti hunter.
A light-hearted, joyful moment to bring Fantaisie in 7 and a Half Dreams to a close, taking flight on the sublime music of Tchaikovsky…
A moment of shared happiness with the audience.
We were also deeply moved to read the many beautiful comments left in the theatre’s guest book about our performance.
One of them truly deserves to be quoted:
"Goya was mistaken: the dream of reason does not give birth to monsters, but to angels..."
We look forward to welcoming you at the Théâtre des Gémeaux Parisiens (Paris 20th arrondissement) starting Saturday, January 3, at 5:00 p.m.
