Exploration and interactions with light painting.

We recently had the pleasure of exploring light painting photography alongside the talented artist Leïla Aggoun.
This fascinating technique is based on the movement of a light source during a long exposure shot, allowing one to draw with light in space.
Born in the late 19th century, this method was artistically explored for the first time by Man Ray with his "Space Writing" series in 1935.

Later, Pablo Picasso also experimented with this visual art, playing with light as he did with his brushes.

What fascinates us about this approach is the ability to capture luminous traces that would otherwise remain invisible. For us, these lines of light become a compositional element alongside posed bodies, like a new form of ikebana, where light and human postures replace flowers and branches.
Thus, our "ikebana of lights and bodies" is born—a meeting between water and rocks, between movement and stillness, between the immaterial and the tangible!
