Dancing in the magical world of JOHNNY THE FLOWERMAN

After years of anticipation, our collaboration with Danish artist Johnny Haugaard Christensen, aka The Flowerman, has finally seen the light of day!
The occasion? His spring exhibition in the town of Aars, entitled Naturens Stemme - Forfald, which means: The Voice of Nature - Decomposition.

It's a vast, immersive, living, ephemeral art project - everything we love.
Immersive, because the spectator is literally immersed in the work, as are we, the dancers.
Lively, because the gigantic ikebana are constantly evolving, from the promise of the bud to the brilliance of the blossom, in constant dialogue with another living art form: dance.
And last but not least, ephemeral, like the circus, because the installation will only exist for a limited time - just like the materials it's made of.
Here, there are no boundaries between the work, the audience and us, the dancers. We all share the same condition: that of living beings.

The voice of nature speaks to us in all its splendor.
Decomposition - far from being an end in itself - is an essential language, as the very title of the exhibition suggests.
Man, flower or insect, life is fleeting. This exhibition is a magnificent ode to the fragile beauty of living things.
So, let's blossom!
Let's turn towards the sun, let the wind carry us, and let's breathe...
